Pop star Miley Cyrus has joined Hollywood's eco-friendly craze by encouraging fans to "go green" in her latest online video. The 15-year-old singer has launched an environmental campaign on her website in a bid to send a strong message to her legions of teen followers. In the latest installment of her regular online video posts, which feature the pop star and pal Mandy Jiroux, the pair offer green tips to viewers. Among the eco suggestions: unplugging cell phones and shopping online to save gas.

First off, yes, I'm back from the first part of my Vacation/Hiatus! Here is all of the things I have missed starting with Candids and then news!

Miley was spotted having a night on the town with some friends in Hollywood on Friday night!

Then on Saturday, she was seen having lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and then doing some shopping!

Lastly, yesterday, she was spending some quality family time by going for a bike ride while looking pretty in pink tales!

Now for the news! A very exciting nomination for Miley! She was nominated for Best New Artist for "7 Things" for the MTV Video Music Awards! She's up agents, Katy Perry with "I Kissed a Girl "Jordin Sparks with "No Air", Taylor Swift with Teardrops on My Guitar and Tokio Hotel with "Ready, Set, Go!"

Miley will be taking over Radio Disney on Thursday (August 21st)! Speaking of Radio Disney, I've noticed that they've started playing Fly on the Wall so that might be the next single!?

Finally, remember to pick up a copy of the Best of Both Worlds Concert 3D Movie DVD tomorrow!! I'm sure the DVD will be great and the Bonus features should be pretty good to!

Candids/Best of Both Worlds Concert Movie/Hit's Remixed

Well first off, I'm very sorry I could not update yesterday! Some things came up and I was super busy! Miley was spotted visiting the Disney Offices on Monday to discuss business in LA yesterday!

As you all know, yesterday was the big release of the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert Movie on DVD & Blu-Ray! I purchased it yesterday morning and I was really impressed! The DVD has some great bonus features like bonus songs and an Behind the Scenes tour! If you haven't picked up a copy yet, visit your local DVD retail store or you can even purchase the 2D version on iTunes!

Rihanna, BEYONCE, Miley Cyrus and Mariah Carey are to team up for a new charity single to benefit cancer funding. The quartet will be among the 12 stars who will be heard on new track Just Stand Up, which will debut during a 5 September (08) cancer awareness telethon in America. Joining the girls will be Mary J. Blige, Ciara, LeAnn Rimes and Fergie. Music moguls Kenneth 'Babyface' Williams and L.A. Reid will produce the track, which will be available as an iTunes download to coincide with the telethon.

Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Rihanna, Fergie, Miley Cyrus, More Collaborate On Cancer Benefit Single

Some of the biggest female singers on the planet have gotten together to record vocals for a star-studded single called "Just Stand Up," benefiting the Stand Up to Cancer campaign. The unprecedented gathering features vocals from Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood. The tune is being produced by the powerhouse duo of Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds and Antonio "L.A." Reid, who are working together for the first time in nearly 20 years on the track. The song will be available for purchase exclusively on iTunes on September 2 and will get its TV premiere on September 5 during the live "Just Stand Up" special, which will air simultaneously and commercial-free on CBS, ABC and NBC. According to a press release announcing the project, the song was conceived by Reid, the chairman of the Island Def Jam Music Group, after a meeting with the women behind the Stand Up to Cancer campaign. Among the stars confirmed to either appear or answer phones on the TV broadcast so far are: Casey Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Christina Applegate, Lance Armstrong, Abigail Breslin, Josh Brolin, David Cook, Dana Delany, Fran Drescher, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Kirsten Dunst, Elizabeth Edwards, Jon Favreau, America Ferrera, Neil Patrick Harris, Salma Hayek, Scarlett Johansson, Masi Oka, Danica Patrick, Christina Ricci, Robin Roberts, Homer Simpson, Marge Simpson, Meryl Streep, Hilary Swank, Charlize Theron, Goran Visnjic, Forest Whitaker and Reese Witherspoon.
