KATY PERRY TOPS CHART FOR FIFTH WEEK

Katy Perry has stayed at the top of the charts with I Kissed a Girl for the fifth week in a row. Katy, 23, has been nominated in the Best New Artist category at this year's MTV awards, which will be held tonight. Eric Prydz is at number two with Pjanoo, while The Pussycat Dolls had the highest new entry in the chart with When I Grow Up, at number three. In the album chart, the Verve held the number one spot for the second week with Forth. The group's single, Love Is Noise, is currently at number ten. J Majik & Dj Wickaman stayed at number two for the fourth week with Script, while Michael Jackson's best of album King of Pop remained at number three. US singer Miley Cyrus was a new entry in the album chart at number ten with Breakout.
